USE CASES

The project has 3 use cases where its technologies are tested, validated and deployed:

• TAILING STORAGE FACILITY monitoring (ArcelorMittal): AMICOS will develop and deploy a continuous, risk-free and costs efficient system for TFS monitoring, including data gathering, information processing and alert-triggering.

• CONVEYOR BELT Monitoring (KGHM): AMICOS will offer a solution to visually inspected km-long conveyor belts in underground environments in terms of potential sources of fire, undesired friction of moving elements, worn idlers, cuts/damages, noise/vibration/temperature level of bearings in electric motors/pulleys, gearboxes, etc. 

• PIPELINE monitoring (Atlantic Copper): AMICOS will provide solutions for the measurement of SO2 gas leakages in big pipes networks and thickness of steel chimneys using drone solutions.
